Pays de la Loire
The Loire valley is famous for it’s chateaux, food, fine wine and much more. There are Troglodyte dwellings to explore that have been carved into the chalk hills, the same chalky soil is perfect for the wine growing regions with fine vintages such as Muscadet, Vouvray and Chinon amongst the favourites. Tours is a good place to use as a base to explore the region. Over to west, the atlantic beaches are popular with windsurfers and beach lovers alike.
